We'll Get It Right Next Time

I say we absolutely should let the Federal Government run out of money. Let's not raise that pesky deficit anymore! Down with big government!! Hell, let's just say what we're all thinking...Down with ANY government.
I don't want anarchy, I'm not advocating violence or Marshall Law or lawlessness. I just want it to happen the way all my good Conservative Republican friends want it to happen. To wit; just let the government run out of money, then blame the Democrats and the President.

Once their obvious failure has been recognized and admonished (even though you'll be hard pressed to point to any one party that can actually be blamed for our deficit and current crappy state of the union) then worry about what to do next. That's a very glass-half-full way of conducting government.

Hold your ground on pointless, shallow or even destructive goals to secure the next election, then spend the whole time until the election blaming the other guys for the carnage. When the next president is on your side he'll figure out what to do to fix all the mess you made to get him there. After all, the President can fix our whole economy and all our other money problems without ANY cooperation from the other side as long as he (or she) is a good Christian Republican.

So I say let 'em do it. Bring it all down. After all, the one lesson about The Great Depression taught to every child in school, the one lesson that resonates throughout history and is universally accepted is that everyone agreed it started when we elected the wrong President.

We'll get it right next time America...won't we?
